The World Buddhism Association Headquarters is a non-profit religious organization lawfully established in the United States of America.
Since Shakyamuni Buddha, the Lord of Buddhism in the Saha World, established Buddhism in our world over 2500 years ago, much of the Buddha’s teachings and Dharma were recorded and kept in various forms until now, which are the Buddhist sutras as people know them. Buddhists follow the doctrines and meanings in the Buddhist sutras worldwide. However, owing to the different teachings of the various sects and the inevitable errors in translating Buddhist Sutras, many Buddhist doctrines and meanings have deviated from those of Namo Shakyamuni Buddha and all Buddhas in the ten directions. The understanding and views, as well as the ways to practice and learn them, have changed.
Fortunately, Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is now abiding in the Saha world, the world of ours. Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is of great loving-kindness and great compassion, and he is benevolent, kind, and moral. He is the only one in the world recognized as a Buddha by the leaders and great rinpoches of all the major Buddhist sects and the only one who has received the most and the highest recognition as a Buddha. Moreover, the achievements in the Five Vidyas by Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are the highest and the most perfect in Buddhist history. Therefore, Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the supreme Buddhist leader in our world.
The Dharma discourses of Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III have spread worldwide. People around the world are benefiting from listening to them. The Dharma imparted by Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III reveals the absolute truth of the universe and explains the correct meanings and principles at the various stages of Buddhist practice, from the elementary and fundamental to the profound and accomplished. Furthermore, they correct the doctrines of the Dharma that are distorted by generations of patriarchs and translations. They also point out and uncover the chaos in the dharma-ending era of Buddhism. Those listening to the dharma discourses can develop their wisdom and grow their good fortune; they can help and love each other and be compassionate to all people.
The World Buddhism Association Headquarters spreads the teachings and dharma discourses by Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and by Shakyamuni Buddha to all Buddhist believers and brings the deviating and erroneous views back to their original correct positions of Buddhism. Abiding by the Buddha’s teachings and based on great compassion, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters mainly hopes to benefit people and dedicate itself altruistically. It wishes everyone in America and the world to benefit from Buddha Dharma to love their country, people, and the world. It hopes they help each other, be full of peace, kindness, and auspiciousness, and the nation is strong, people are prosperous, and everyone is full of joy and happiness.
To promote and spread authentic Buddha Dharma, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters organizes Buddhist temples, associations, and organizations in different places worldwide. In 2014, 28,000 organizations attended the H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Grand Dharma Assembly held in Hong Kong. These organizations lead people to learn the teachings of Namo Shakyamuni Buddha and respectfully listen to the dharma discourses imparted by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III that can teach and guide people to do good deeds and be compassionate towards living beings.
Certain days during the year are considered holy days in Buddhism, such as the sacred birthdays of Shakyamuni Buddha and other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. On such holy days, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters holds religious and worshiping dharma assemblies, participated mainly by high monks and people of great benevolence and virtue. During the dharma assemblies, the participants worship Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, respectfully listen to the dharma discourses imparted by Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and chant Buddhist sutras of Namo Shakyamuni Buddha to celebrate the holy birthdays of Buddha and Bodhisattvas. They pray to Buddha and Bodhisattvas for bestowing Their blessings and protections onto the people in the United States and the world so that their adversities are removed, the society is stable, the country of the United States is prosperous and strong, and the world is peaceful.
The World Buddhism Association Headquarters also publishes printed materials about Buddhism. These printed materials correct the chaotic phenomena in the Buddhist world; they guide those who practice Buddhism to hold correct understanding and views and lead people onto the right path in practicing and learning Buddha Dharma.
The World Buddhism Association Headquarters holds Buddhist seminars in which the religious leaders of various Buddhist organizations worldwide, leading the people who practice Buddhism, exchange the knowledge gained and their understanding of Buddha Dharma. It helps those Buddhist practitioners tangibly apply the teachings of Namo H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and Namo Shakyamuni Buddha in their daily lives. It allows those who cultivate themselves to more practically analyze their erroneous understanding and views and correct their own words and deeds according to the teachings of the Buddha.
