Recently, at the request of Jiaozun Shi Zhengda, a Dharma master of our headquarters, the Shangzuns of the Holy Guru Group revised the traditional recitation texts. They held a Holy Determination based on the Dharma requirements of “Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn” but failed. As a result, the holy gurus deeply felt that they lacked holy virtues and capabilities and were unworthy of Buddhists.

Some Buddhist disciples exaggerated this information and spread it in group practice meetings. They even mistakenly claimed that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III revised the recitation texts and held the Holy Determination. That was very inappropriate. Namo Chang Buddha had already expressed His stance on the Holy Determination for the recitation texts that He would not participate in the important event of the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn. His reason was in the following words: “I am a humbled body and have no holy capabilities. How can I have the virtue and powers to invoke Buddhas and Bodhisattvas?” So, Namo Chang Buddha asked us to resolve it by ourselves.

The Buddha said: “It would be like looking for a needle in a haystack if it were up to the few of you. Even Kaichu, who has already succeeded in gaining Tummo Fire capabilities and reached the intermediate level of holy virtue and realization in the test of Lifting Pestles onto the Platform, and Wangzha, who is a Shangzun with extraordinary holy power and a holy physique, didn’t succeed in practicing drawing lots to make definitive decisions, did they? I think it’s harder than climbing the sky for you to succeed in drawing lots.

“In fact, for the recitation text, as long as you have the right knowledge, views, learning and conduct, you can directly identify the things that violate Lord Shakyamuni’s teachings in the books. It would be good enough if you could correct them according to the Buddha’s teachings; why bother to do a difficult task that you cannot do? Being who has the inane title of Dorje Chang Buddha III, I don’t have this ability. My waist and hands still hurt from lifting the pestle onto the platform last time. I am just an ordinary practitioner. I only know to believe in cause and effect, teach people to cultivate themselves, refrain from evil, and practice good deeds. I can’t do the holy drawing of lots that you try to do.

“If someday you finally succeed in doing the Holy Determination, you must remember that drawing lots is to benefit others selflessly. You must not use the holy practice of Drawing Lots from a Golden Urn to collect believers’ donations. You must be selfless and of pure virtue. If you really cannot beseech the heavens for determination, ask a Shengzun, who is higher in status than you, to come forward and help.”

The Buddha’s teachings deeply made us feel ashamed. In fact, there is no one in the Buddhist world today whose holy capabilities and powers can come close to those of Jiaozun Kaichu and Shangzun Wangzha. Even if we invite all the great Dharma kings and masters worldwide, it will be useless! Namo Chang Buddha lifted the pestle onto the platform, manifesting the unparalleled holy physique and holy strength that are the powers of a Buddha. However, He insisted on saying that He did not have the holy capabilities and powers and that He was not healthy enough. What can we do?

Since we cannot beseech the Buddha to preside over the drawing of lots, but for all living beings to have the definitive holy recitation texts of the true Dharma, the headquarters has decided to practice the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn. Although our invoking virtues are insufficient, we will never turn back. The World Honored One said: “There are countless Dharma gates, and I vow to learn them.” Buddhas are based on compassion. Will they forsake living beings?

Buddhists! First of all, you need to figure out for yourself whether the Dharma, mantras, theories, precepts, and sutras you are learning are of a holy or secular nature. This is a matter of whether you will escape birth and death or waste your time in reincarnation to suffer! The holiness of Buddha Dharma is not based on somebody’s saying but must be determined by the Holy Determination and definitively confirmed by the Yidam. All holy Dharma texts determined by the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn must have the time, place, witnesses, and physical proof! Anyone who practices the holy Dharma, coupled with the inner-tantric initiation, is ensured of accomplishment.

On the other hand, it isn’t easy to attain accomplishment by practicing secular Dharmas. Some secular Dharma texts can even cause practitioners to have black karma because it has changed its quality. It may look like Buddha Dharma on the outside, but in essence, it is mixed with evil and misleading theories and is no longer the true Dharma.

For example, the traditional morning and evening recitation texts passed down by the patriarchs have extremely serious problems. Now, I will randomly select a few to show you so you can see how terrible they are. We didn’t create anything out of thin air and falsely say that demons modified sutras and precepts recitation texts. Everyone will know this is a fact after reading it.

For example, the recitation text says, “If one sentient being still has not become a Buddha, I will not attain nirvana in this world.” Then, you will never attain accomplishment because there are countless sentient beings. Another example is, “The world’s rarest King Shurangama eliminated all my upside-down thoughts over millions of kalpas and let me obtain the dharmakaya without going through asankhyeyas of time. I hope to achieve the fruit of becoming a jeweled king now.” Suppose the Surangama Sutra and the mantra can eliminate your upside-down dreams of millions of kalpas, and you can obtain dharmakaya and become a jeweled king without going through many asankhyeyas kalpas. Have you become a jeweled king after chanting for so long? No, you have not become a jeweled king. You have become a jeweled idiot. Why are you still an ordinary person today? The truth is clear: this is a mantra tampered with by demons, and it has no effect.

Another example is: “Śūnyatā nature can be destroyed.” How could destruction or resurrection occur if the Buddha-nature does not increase or decrease?

There are restaurants and hotels in Mount Putuo [Note: Mount Putuo is an island off the coast of Zhejiang, China], and all food and accommodation are not free and must be paid for. It is absolutely not “thinking about clothes, you will get clothes, and thinking about food, you will get food.” Instead, the recitation text falsely states that Mount Putuo is a “glazed Buddha-land,” which gravely violates the precept of not lying. The fact is that the supreme Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva once appeared on Mount Putuo, and we must respect Her with the utmost respect.

The recitation text also says, “He who was the Tathagata Zheng-Fa-Ming and now Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.” Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva cannot be a democratically elected official, can He? It sounds like He was elected as Tathagata in the past, but now He was not elected to be a Tathagata and only a Bodhisattva. Is it because He is no longer a Tathagata, hence the phrase: “Now Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva?” This is an absurdity of demonic tampering! The correct saying is: Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva has the supreme and perfect enlightened position and is Tathagata Zheng-Fa-Ming!

Another example is that World-Honored Lord Shakyamuni clearly realized the neither-arising-nor-ceasing True Suchness and attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Buddha-gayā, but the Buddha’s Praise falsely changed it to “becoming enlightened in the snow-capped mountains.” Another example is that Lord Shakyamuni attained Buddhahood at the Vulture’s Peak (Gṛdhrakūṭa) Dharma Assembly, but it was falsified into nonsense of the saying, “I wish to meet Lord Shakyamuni at the three Dragon Flowers Dharma Assembly.” The Dragon Flowers Dharma Assembly is where Maitreya Bodhisattva becomes the Jamba Buddha in the future. Indeed, Shakyamuni Buddha did not decide to go to the Dragon Flowers Assembly and personally hand over the cassock, robe and bowl to Maitreya Bodhisattva. Instead, the Buddha gave the cassock, robe and bowl to Venerable Kassapa. Now, Venerable Kassapa has entered samadhi at Huashou Gate of Jizu Mountain in Yunnan, China, waiting for Maitreya Buddha to come to the world to hand over the cassock, robe and bowl to Maitreya Buddha. The demons tampered with the recitation texts and forcibly dragged Shakyamuni Buddha into the Dragon Flowers Assembly, mixing up and fabricating things that are far-fetched.

Here is another example. It clearly should be “all the Buddhas in the world can see everything,” but it was tampered with by the demon’s descendants to “I see everything in the world.” What can you see at all? As an ordinary person learning and practicing Buddhism, what ability do you have to see everything in the world? Aren’t you patently telling lies to the public, deceiving Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and beguiling heaven and earth? You tell lies in the face of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas when you recite the text every day or on the first and fifteenth day of every month; You say false words and lie about your level of realization every time. It is a sin that will cause you to descend to Hell!

Such traditional recitation texts passed down by the patriarchs and sects resulted from the demon’s descendants sneaking into the Sangha and tampering with the true Dharma by adding cancerous evil theories. The purpose was to make the disciples practice the Dharma without success, accumulate serious sins, and fall into the evil path.

For another example, there are serious problems with the scriptures circulating now about the prophecies given by Lord Shakyamuni to those worldly people, Arhats or monks. According to the nature of these prophecies, they are a typical fatalistic and heretical superstitious view that goes against the truth Shakyamuni Buddha told living beings: “All things are governed by cause and effect!” In fact, the level of your achievement, the time it takes, and how much blessings and capability you attain all depends on your learning of Buddha Dharma, cultivation, and Dharma practice. They depend on your planting all kinds of good causes, which result in the fruit of enlightenment in the ever-changing world. Destiny is by no means fixed, and one will not become something or attain some level of accomplishment after a fixed number of kalpas or years. If every living being has a pre-determined destiny, then there is no need to learn Buddha Dharma or practice cultivation. Apart from eating, drinking and having fun all day, they can do all kinds of evil because their destiny has been determined anyway. When the time comes, they will accomplish all blessings in the world and become a transcendental holy person, a king, a minister, an Arhat, or even a Bodhisattva or a Buddha. The fatalistic prophecies are what the devils did after they sneaked into the Sangha. The real prophecy the Buddha gave was based on the cause and effect of the moment. It was never a definitive prediction that disregarded changing one’s conduct between good and bad and varying causes and effects. Therefore, everyone should think about it carefully. Where will the road take you if you don’t learn the correct Dharma teachings and recitations confirmed by the Yidam?

Therefore, the true Buddha Dharma is extremely precious, more than simply an empty phrase: “hard to encounter in hundreds of millions of kalpas” spoken randomly and recorded in books. The real Buddha Dharma is truly difficult to find. The complete three-part ritual, definitively confirmed through the Holy Determination, is by no means open to the public at the market or can be seen casually. Only the sutras, principles, and regular practice rituals can be widely disseminated for the public to learn and practice. However, the widely publicized books, including some throughout Buddhist history, contain many sentences and even contents mixed with good and evil, and even hidden serious sins and errors. Some sutras have not been altered by the devil’s descendants, such as the Diamond Sutra and the Amitabha Sutra, as Told by the Buddha, translated by Dharma Master Kumarajiva, and the Heart Sutra, translated by Master Xuanzang. However, the Holy Determination has yet to confirm many other sutras and Dharmas. Except for a Buddha, an Equal Enlightenment Bodhisattva, or a Marvelous Enlightenment Bodhisattva, no one, including us, dares to judge whether they are right or wrong.

Note that as long as it involves Dharmas, cultivation, and mantras, you must distinguish between holy and secular. The holy Dharma text, cultivation practice, and mantras are those confirmed by the Yidam of the Dharma. For example, the Yidam of the Amitabha Dharma Practice Ritual is Amitabha Buddha. If the Yidam does not approve it, then it is a secular practice or something that has been tampered with by the devil’s descendants! Only the holy Buddha Dharma is the correct and true Dharma.

The function of the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn is to ensure that Buddhists find the correct determination. The origin of the Holy Determination is due to Demon King Mara asking Shakyamuni Buddha if He could allow the devil’s descendants to join the Buddhist Sangha to learn Buddha Dharma. The Buddha thought that devils and demons were also sentient beings that needed to be saved, so He readily agreed to the request of the Demon King. However, the Demon King Mara took this opportunity and had his devil’s descendants put on cassocks to distort the meaning of the scriptures and tamper with the teachings and precepts, Dharma recitation texts, mantras, etc. They have vigorously polluted and distorted the Dharma. So, throughout the world, very few people in temples have attained accomplishment nowadays.

As Buddhist practitioners, we must tell the truth, which makes many people uncomfortable. However, we will not lie to please others; we can only be truthful. For example, at the world-renowned Kathok Monastery, more than one hundred thousand people had practiced Dzogchen and achieved the rainbow body before. It was indeed a remarkable event of authentic Dharma back then. But in recent decades, not a single person achieved the rainbow body. Everyone, including the temple abbots and Dharma kings, is powerless and feeble. Not to mention achieving the rainbow body, everyone ended their lives in illness.

Another example is that many Tantric masters taught the Dharma of Tummo Fire, but none of the gurus who transmitted the Dharma could raise their body temperature. That is the fact today! Why? It is because the devil’s descendants have already joined most temples and tampered with the scriptures and Dharma. In addition, no Holy Determination was made, and no one could invite the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to confirm things definitively. As a result, practitioners could hardly find authentic Dharmas to practice, and we rarely see people attaining accomplishments nowadays.

A well-known figure in Buddhist circles is clamoring that he does not approve of Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn. He says he has never gone through a Drawing of Lots from the Golden Urn but is a great rinpoche nonetheless. The person who says this has never behaved like a holy man at all in his life. Because he is an ordinary person who was mistakenly recognized as a holy man and did not go through the Drawing of Lots from the Golden Urn, he had no choice but to use opposition as a fig leaf to hide his ordinary person’s face.

From ancient times to the present, there are many types of drawing lots, divination, and asking oracles, and many religions have them. As far as Tantric Buddhism is concerned, there are Buddha’s Lots, Avalokitesvara’s Lots, Manjusri’s Divination, Hayagriva’s Secret Practice Bead Trigram, Six-Character Holy Bright Mirror of Definitive Truth, Six-Character Mantra’s Bright Mirror of Choice, Dharma of Divination Wheel, Atisa’s Divination via Dream Visualization, Divination by Turning Tsampa Pill, Drawing Lots from a Golden Urn, Verification Through a Dharma Vessel, Green Tara’s Mirror Altar Dharma, Famen Gongyu’s Reality Bright Mirror, and the Hundred-Dharma Bright Gate Determination in Total Darkness. The most important ones are the non-esoteric Grand Dharmas of direct Buddhist lineage – the five top sacred methods of the Vajra Yidam Reality: Vajra Holy Power Reality Formation, Vajra Pillar Answering People’s Questions, Eight Winds Formation True Measurement Bright Mirror, Vajra Faman Revealing the Clear Image of Reality, and the Holy Dharma Wheel Bright Mirror for Inquires. These five top supreme Dharmas that manifest holy powers are all transmitted by the Buddhas to determine good and evil, right and wrong, true and false. However, they cannot be successfully practiced without the power of a Mahasattva because a holy Dharma vessel is a prerequisite, and only a tremendously holy being of the Mahasattva level or above has such a holy Dharma vessel as the Vajra Seal, Vajra Pillar, Holy Dharma Wheel, Eight-Wind Formation Orders, and the Dharma decree of the Buddha’s Holy Edict Altar.

As for Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, there are two types, depending on whether it is the secular or the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn. In the secular Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, you randomly pick out a lot from the bottle. This is a hit-and-miss lottery; it is by chance. If you continue to draw lots a few more times, it will be inaccurate, and you will often not get the lot you drew the first time.

There are more than 100 kinds of fortune-telling from other non-Buddhist religions worldwide. Except for the divination using the 64 hexagrams by those more knowledgeable in the Book of Changes, which has an accuracy of 50 to 60 percent, the others are all fundamentally based on random chances and are inaccurate fortune-telling. Among all so many ways of fortune-telling and formations, only those five top-level Buddhist methods mentioned above are 100% correct! In addition, there are the 21 Tara Merit-Invoked Lots (also known as Langjiu Wangdan [Note: Tibetan: Rnam Bcu Dbang Idan; English: The Design of Gathering Ten Powerful Elements; Chinese:十相自在] Holy Diamond Aquarius Drawing Lots) and Famen Gongyu Bright Mirror for Inquiries. Everyone can draw the Merit-Invoked Lots. It is a holy lottery invoked by boundless justice, righteousness, and moral character. It is the only method different from all the holy determination methods in that it does not rely on preternatural powers but only on cultivating virtue and merit to invoke the Yidam. So, it is called the Merit-Invoked Lots. If a tremendously holy and virtuous one presides over the drawing of the lots, the effectiveness will be 100% accurate. If the lots are secretly sealed and drawn again, the result will be the same as the previous draw without any error.

However, practicing the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn (Merit-Invoked Lots) is a cumbersome process. Before the 21 stipulated procedures, generally speaking, you must practice Dharmas and recite sutras for seven days. Then, on the eighth day after the recitation of sutras, all participants must be present, and the altar is opened. At this time, the tremendously holy one presiding over the ceremony, or a great holy one put forth by a certain sect, temple, religious place, Buddhist hall, Zen nunnery, or charity group participating in the Dharma assembly to prove their organization has a great holy person, will perform the Uncovering the Hidden Terma with Verification, in which they will uncover the hidden secret treasure of the Dharma-Jeweled Mirror of the Green Tara Mirror Altar (also known as the Demon-reflecting Mirror). The Demon-reflecting Mirror can be used to check whether there are any demons among all the participants at the scene. A successful practice of the Uncovering of the Hidden Terma can also be an opportunity to endow holy blessing powers on the Vajra ropes (to benefit world beings).

In case there are multiple holy beings administering the Uncovering of the Hidden Terma, the first holy one uncovering the hidden terma must not verbally reveal the results publicly but will only secretly mark the location of the hidden treasure on a piece of paper. All the holy ones who uncover the hidden terma will identify the treasure’s position and secretly write down the platform number, too, and then everyone takes out their paper to cross-verify. You must not break the precepts, lie about having the capability, and rely on your imagination to guess it. Otherwise, you will plant the cause of going to Hell. Ordinary eminent monks and great virtuous ones cannot see where the hidden terma treasure is. It takes a great holy being with incredible powers to uncover the hidden terma treasure with verification.

Why must the hidden terma be uncovered on the eighth day? It is because, on the ninth day, we will officially enter the main hall and hold the holy Drawing of Lots from the Golden Urn. At that time, the Buddhas will seal off and block the main hall of the holy Drawing of Lots from the Golden Urn, so no holy power or capability can be of any use. Therefore, the terma must be uncovered on the eighth day, when the great holy gurus can apply their holy realization powers to uncover the hidden terma and take out the secret treasured mirror.

In the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, Kalachakra Vajra is the Yidam, and each of the 21 Taras is in charge of a procedure. This is not the conventional secular drawing of lots from the golden urn, where one casually takes out a lot from the golden urn, and that’s it. The lots must be made according to iron-clad rules and regulations, and the process must be completed according to 21 Dharma-stipulated procedures. The process from making lots to drawing lots is all carried out under the watchful eyes of the public, and nothing can be changed or missing! The first fifteen rules and regulations for making lots must be implemented individually and in sequence by the public themselves (the person in charge of drawing lots is not allowed to participate in making lots or watch the making of lots). Only after the people have made and secretly sealed the lots can they be put into the vajra urn. Then, the lid of the urn is closed, and the urn is taken to the Dharma altar. Afterward, they will proceed to the 16th procedure, where the person who presides over the drawing will start drawing lots in front of the people attending the meeting. A total of ten lots must be drawn when drawing lots. Each drawing must abide by the rules and be accurate, and no mistake can happen to any of the ten lots. If there is any error, the twelve lot makers will have to put the plates into the lots by only touching them under the satin cloth, then put the lots into the lot bag and seal it. Then, the administering guru will draw another round. The lots drawn in this second round must be identical to the first round. That proves that the holy Drawing of Lots from the Golden Urn is successful and that the person who presides over the lot drawing is truly a tremendously holy guru. On the contrary, if the lots drawn in the second round are different from the lots drawn in the first round, it proves that the character of the lot-drawer cannot inspire Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to come to the scene, and it also proves that the lot-drawer does not have the virtue of a Buddha or Bodhisattva! The lots drawn are invalid and not holy or definitive in nature!

From a historical point of view, in terms of presiding over the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, Only the real tremendously holy gurus, such as Master Padmasambhava, Master Tsongkhapa, Master Marpa, Master Anatta, and Venerable King Suchandra, could have the power to preside over and inspire. Others, no matter what kind of famous Buddhist figure one is, no matter how famous one is, Even if he has a high status and is famous all over the world, as long as he is a fake Bodhisattva, he definitely does not have the virtue to preside over the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn!

Since those fake people cannot perform the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, to cover up their faces as ordinary people pretending to be holy, they have no choice but to slander and oppose it strongly. A nominally so-called Great Dharma King said that he did not know the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn but only knew the Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn that was reinforced and recognized by the old dynasty’s government. That is very normal. If he knew the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, he would be a great holy guru. What qualifications and opportunities does an ordinary person pretending to be a holy being have to see the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn? They are like farmers who grow crops or herders who herd cattle and sheep. They don’t know how to mine iceberg rocks, what the diamonds from South Africa are about, or how spaceships can carry people to the moon. There are many things you don’t know. A layperson wouldn’t know what is happening inside the circle, and a Bodhisattva of the first bhumi wouldn’t know what a Bodhisattva of the second bhumi is doing. How could a Bodhisattva know the state of a Mahasattva? Even now, Maitreya Bodhisattva still does not know everything about Shakyamuni Buddha’s supreme enlightenment!

However, our headquarters will make the rules, regulations, and procedures for the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn public. This announcement may inspire a Buddha or a Mahasattva to come and help the headquarters fulfill its wish of benefiting and saving living beings. We will be so grateful if that turns out to be the case.

The presiding guru of the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn must essentially be a Buddha, Marvelous Enlightenment Bodhisattva, Equal Enlightenment Bodhisattva or a Mahasattva. Only then can He have the virtue and qualifications to invite the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to enter the altar and personally confirm the determination. Any other great holy and virtuous one, and even a Dharma King, Rinpoche, Dharma Master, etc., who claims to have “great supernatural powers and boundless capabilities” are unable to practice the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn because, in the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn Dharma Assembly Hall, the divine powers are worthless; the Buddhas will seal everything. No matter how powerful one is, they will not be able to use it. The Yidam will only be inspired by virtues. Because anyone can draw in the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, there is no need for feudalistic superstition or mysterious and strange powers. Anyone can come to draw the lots as long as his moral character is pure and he selflessly benefits others. Therefore, Uncovering the terma to retrieve the treasured mirror must not occur in the sealed-off grand hall on the ninth day when no holy realization capability is of use. Otherwise, the terma treasure cannot be uncovered in the holy sense.

Those who can attend the Dharma assembly and witness the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn must have the blessings and dharma conditions cultivated since beginningless time. It is difficult for one out of 10,000 Buddhists to have such a wonderful cause. Anyone who can attend the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn Dharma Assembly with this wonderful cause and has established tremendous merit in guarding true Dharma and practically undertaking Buddhist tasks will naturally plant powerful holy Dharma causes. Such people will easily pass the Holy Determination for inner tantric initiation, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will personally come to the altar of the initiation before you to accept you. Therefore, this is not an empty statement of “hard to encounter in millions of kalpas” that is often seen in books.

Finding anyone who can practice the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn in the Buddhist world is difficult. Because of the decline of true Buddha Dharma, those unscrupulous ordinary people, those fake Dharma kings and fake rinpoches, who are mistakenly certified as holy, do not have the virtuous state to achieve the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, so they can only protest, oppose, and disapprove it. They say, “There is no such thing as Drawing Lots from Golden Urn” to cover up their shame.

Some great Dharma kings, great rinpoches, and great Dharma masters with significant fame but no real power or realization capability cannot run away fast enough from the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn! They fear it because they don’t have the morals nor the capabilities of the tremendously holy gurus such as Guru Padmasambhava, Master Tsongkhapa, Master Marpa, Master Nairatmya, King Suchandra, etc. Suppose the holy Drawing Lots from a Golden Urn is mentioned, but they can’t show the virtue of invoking Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to be present to determine the result. In that case, aren’t they just embarrassing themselves and asking for bad luck on the spot? It is just like Lifting the Pestle onto the Platform, which fake Buddhas and Bodhisattvas avoid as much as possible because they know very well that they are ordinary people with feeble bodies pretending to be holy ones to deceive laypeople. They have no real Buddha Dharma and no trace of the holy body composition. If they try Lifting the Pestle onto the Platform, they will only be embarrassed and out of luck. Only those truly holy and virtuous people who have realized the holy constitution and holy strength can lift weights 12 levels above their regular grade!

In fact, ever since Demon King Mara made his evil vows, a large number of unscrupulous figures and evil masters have entered the Buddhist world, pretending to be the patriarchs of some generations but are actually fake, pompous, and empty. Their five internal organs are exhausted, their bodies are weak, and they have no holy power. They cannot even lift the vajra pestle, which barely meets their baseline level, off the ground. What else can these fakes, who pretend to be holy beings with the body and mind of evil ordinary people, do except oppose and vigorously slander the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn to cover up their ugliness? What poor men they are!

Let’s all think about a simple but scientific and realistic question: regardless of the identity of the opposers, whether they are a Dharma king or a top figure, or what kind of Buddha or incarnation of a great Bodhisattva everyone praises, or a combined incarnation of however many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc., How can they not dare to preside over the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn and invite the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to come and show Their holiness if they are indeed a great holy being, a reincarnated Buddha or Bodhisattva? Can he be a great Bodhisattva if he doesn’t dare to draw ten lots? Where is his virtue as a tremendously holy and virtuous one? Is there anything that a Buddha, a Marvelous Enlightenment Bodhisattva, or an Equal Enlightenment Bodhisattva cannot do to benefit all sentient beings?

The highest and most tremendously holy guru must possess “five measurable qualifications.” They are:

1. Possessing the enlightenment and realization of self-nature (the practical realization of understanding one’s mind and seeing one’s true nature).
2. Possessing the practical realization of a holy body (manifesting holy constitution and holy strength).
3. Possessing the realization of virtues (achieving the virtue to inspire Buddha and holy beings).
4. Possessing external Dharma powers (can use vast and strong Dharma powers).
5. Possessing the realization of the Five Vidyas (achieving perfection in the Five Vidyas).

Which item do you possess? If there is not even one, but you still sit on the chair of a holy being, aren’t you an ordinary person sitting on the holy throne?

In particular, the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn requires the third item – possession of the realization of virtues. Without it, you will not be able to draw lots successfully. Suppose you have not demonstrated virtues to inspire the Buddha and the holy beings. In that case, you cannot communicate with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas or inspire the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to enter the altar to confirm the result definitively. That is why you cannot preside over the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn.

To preserve their false reputation and long-term vested interests, some people have no other trick but to oppose the holy Drawing of Lots from the Golden Urn. However, the problem comes again. As an ordinary person, you cannot even practice the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn yourself; how can you criticize the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn when the real Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are present?

No matter whether you are a great Dharma King, a great rinpoche, or a great master, since you claim that your teachings are the true Dharma, then you can show your “Possession of Virtues” to prove to everyone that you are qualified to say that your teachings and recitation texts are authentic religious teachings. Or, if you display any of the “Five Possessions of Qualification” for everyone to see, you will be considered to have the authentic Dharma.

Whether it is true is not based on your historical lineage or empty words. Storytellers are better at making up stories than you. Use your moral conduct and virtues to practice the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn. Let the public examine you. Instead, you just stand there shouting words of opposition and not recognizing the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn, and you can only brag about yourself to deceive laypeople, confuse everyone, and make them mistakenly believe that you, an ordinary person, are a great holy one, and hold the true Dharma. Although your appearance is bright and beautiful, your inner quality is indeed fake, and you are nothing but an ordinary person pretending to be a Buddha and a Bodhisattva! It’s not that we look down on you. We are not asking you to show you possess all five qualifications. We ask that you present one of the five possessions: “the self-realization of perfection in the Five Vidyas.” If you can’t even do it, what kind of Bodhisattva are you? So, repent and practice well.

It is conceivable that after seeing our announcement, some important Buddhist figures will be ignorant and worry about it and start slandering it themselves. We greatly welcome you to label yourself the target of our announcement so that we can examine your essence. Come to the Holy Miracles Temple to lift the pestle onto the platform to prove that you have the physical constitution and strength of a true holy being. Show the virtue required for practicing the holy Drawing Lots from the Golden Urn. We will sincerely and respectfully receive you as a distinguished guest.
