Dharma Assembly to Respectfully Honor the

Holy Birthday of Namo Amitabha Buddha

     Namo Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land is one of the five Buddhas of the Five Directions. Amitabha Buddha attained Buddhahood by having learned Dharma from Namo Primordial Buddha Dorje Chang. Prior to attaining Buddhahood, when the Buddha was still practicing cultivation, He made 48 vows. After attaining Buddhahood, Amitabha Buddha manifested the magnificent Buddha land, the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, and became the Lord of the Western Paradise.

   To honor the forthcoming holy birthday of Namo Amitabha Buddha, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters (W.B.A.H.), Holy Miracles Temple, Hongfa Temple and Sanger Mission will jointly organize the Dharma Assembly to Honor the Holy Birthday of Namo Amitabha Buddha. This Dharma Assembly will take place in the Grand Hall of Sakyamuni Buddha at Holy Miracles Temple on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 10:00a.m.

During the Dharma Assembly, we will respectfully recite the Amitabha Sutra and make meal offerings to all Buddhas. All merits will be dedicated to honoring the holy birthday of Namo Amitabha Buddha; wishing that peace prevail on earth, that all wars subside, that all people be safe and happy, that their crops yield abundant harvests, and that they live a long life without illnesses and increase their good fortune and wisdom.
