Dharma Assembly to Respectfully Honor The Holy Birthday of Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva
The greatly compassionate Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva has been known throughout history for saving living beings from disasters and sufferings. Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva attained Buddhahood countless eons ago, and is known as the “Tathagata of True Dharma Brightness.” Out of great compassion and bodhicitta, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva made the holy vow to help those tormented by adversities. In the form of a thousand arms and a thousand eyes, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva hears the pleas of living beings in the sahā world, and protect and deliver them from harm.
In view of the upcoming Holy Birthday of Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters, Holy Miracles Temple, Hongfa Temple, and Sanger Mission will jointly organize the Dharma Assembly to Respectfully Honor the Holy Birthday of Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva. The Dharma Assembly will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Grand Hall of Shakyamuni Buddha, at Holy Miracles Temple in Pasadena. The congregation will recite scriptures; make meal offerings to the Buddhas; and beseech all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to bless all living beings, so that their merit and wisdom will increase, and their lives will be joyful and fulfilled. All are welcome to provide names you wish to include in these prayers. All are welcome to participate in this joyful occasion and share the Dharma joy!
