Do good and do no evil
Namo Amitabha Buddha in the West is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. He is a disciple of the primordial Buddha, Namo Dorje Chang Buddha. When the Buddha was still practicing cultivation, He made 48 great vows. After attaining Buddhahood, Amitabha Buddha manifested the magnificent Buddha land, the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, and became the Lord of the Western Paradise.
To celebrate the holy birthday of Namo Amitabha Buddha, the World Buddhism Association Headquarters (WBAH), Holy Miracles Temple, and Sanger Mission will jointly hold The Namo Amitabha Buddha Dharma Assembly in the Sakyamuni Buddha Hall of Holy Miracles Temple on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
During the Dharma Assembly, we will respectfully recite the Amitabha Sutra and make meal offerings to all Buddhas. We will dedicate all merits of honoring the holy birthday of Namo Amitabha Buddha to world peace, the ending of all wars, and the safety and happiness of all people, wishing them abundant harvests, longevity without illnesses, and increased good fortune and wisdom.
