As the world ushered in the Year of the Horse, San Francisco’s Hua Zang Si Temple marked the Lunar New Year with a three-day Chinese New Year Blessing Dharma Assembly, held February 17–19. The Dharma Assembly coincided with the beginning of the Lunar New Year on February 17 and honored the enduring cultural and spiritual traditions cherished by Asian communities worldwide.
In January, Buddhist communities worldwide observed H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day, commemorating the occasion through ceremonies, acts of service, and educational programs. The observance reflected teachings that emphasize cultivation, moral integrity, and compassion, offering participants a chance to express reverence through meaningful action while fostering harmony within their communities.
Glendale, CA — May 30-31, 2025 — In a profound expression of global devotion, more than a thousand Venerables, Dharma Masters, Rinpoches, and lay practitioners gathered at the Glendale Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles County to honor the Holy Birthday of H.H.
