This announcement contains the Great Dharma of Zen Practice that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III taught a group of cultivators in March of 2013 in the Hall of the Three Holy Ones at Bodhi Monastery in the United States. This great Dharma was first formally published on the internet in Chinese on December 4, 2013.

We take this opportunity of the auspicious and extraordinary 2013 Dharma Assembly to invite everyone to join us in making vows together. We sincerely beseech the Buddhas of the ten directions to bless the United States with peace and prosperity, bountiful harvests, freedom from disasters and hardships, for all nations of the world, for humanity and sentient beings to live in happiness, with abundant auspiciousness and everlasting peace. We respectfully pray to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III not to forsake us practitioners, and may He personally come to the Dharma Assembly to bestow blessings.
What is cultivation? This is a very fundamental lesson; indeed, the first lesson. Nonetheless, this is an important matter that many cultivators, including those who have practiced cultivation over many years, do not understand and are confused about.
